S8 (Gen 2) is the second generation of Android ATOTO S8 stereo, and its SoC applies a 12nm manufacturing process, ARM Cortext Octa-Core processor (higher efficiency, lower consumption, high performance) and the latest ATOTO AICE UI 11.0 (deep customization in Android Q). S8 (Gen 2) brings satisfaction to various operations. Four options are available to get internet access: WiFi/Bluetooth/USB connection, or via built-in 4G cellular modem (SIM card not included). Dual Bluetooth allows S8 to enable multiple connections with phone and other BT devices simultaneously. BT2 supports BT connection internet connection of the phone. BT1 comes with Qualcomm aptX HD codec, support 24-bit music quality over BT. Listeners can hear even the smallest details of their music (the phone also needs to support BT aptX HD codec). Built-in phone integration link is compatible with Android Auto, plus wired/wireless CarPlay. S8 Ultra Plus works with ATOTO AC-HD03LR cameras (not included) to have a Virtual HD Surround View (VSV) and Live Rear View (LRV) display. A special integrated panoramic seam algorithm processes the image sent from AC-HD03LR and reconstructs a dynamic, virtual but almost the same size view of the environment ratio (VSV). With the LRV option, users can access the rear view even if the vehicle is moving forward, eliminating headrest and rear pillar obstructions from the vehicle and increasing the field of view. S8G2109UP applies the modern 10.1 inch 1280x720 QLED display (high resolution, clearer/vivid image and 178° viewing angle). The 10.1-inch floating display stands out with its double DIN base that allows users to adjust height and viewing angles (up or down). For very few vehicles, the edge of the large screen can block air vent, car emergency switch button or other buttons, resulting in inconvenient operation. Make sure yours doesn't have such problems, or you can accept it. The built-in hand gesture sensor allows you to control the S8 in a great and easy way: skip tracks, adjust system volume, and access other operations quickly. Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC): Automatically adjusts the volume of the S8 system as the vehicle's speed changes, to compensate for road and wind noise. Users can put memorable photos into the specified gallery folder and allow them to automatically play on the large S8 HD screen with just a tap. ATOTO provides continuous firmware updates when available.
