Description
Hulled millet is high in fibber and naturally gluten-free. Millet was first collected from the wild in China. During antiquity, it was then cultivated in India, Africa, Egypt and Japan. Its culture spread to Europe in the Middle Ages. It has remained little cultivated in Europe but it is very popular in black Africa where it remains the staple food of the population.
